Asbestos Surveyor

Established for over 20 years we are a UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy, undertaking asbestos surveys, air monitoring and bulk analysis at our laboratory based near Newick, East Sussex.
Due to an increasing workload we require at least one new asbestos surveyor to join our team. Many of our staff have been with the company for 10+ years, which we hope is testament to the working environment we provide. The role will include undertaking Management / Refurbishment / Demolition Asbestos Surveys to a wide variety of building types for a very varied client base.
We have offices in Sussex and South Wales and whilst we cover these areas in particular, we also cover London and everything in between. Candidates must be prepared to travel as required by the nature of the job, work away when required and undertake weekend work if needed.
Salary is based on experience. Candidates must have the BOHS P402 and a minimum of 1 years experience working for a UKAS accredited company.
We offer 25 days annual leave (five of which are included within our Christmas shutdown period) in addition to bank holidays.

Pay: £26,000.00-£35,000.00 per year depending on experience

Requirements
- BOHS P402
- Minimum of 1 year experience with a UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- IT literate
- GCSE grades C or above in English and Maths or equivalent
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent work ethic
- Willingness to work out of hours and travel nationwide as required
