We currently have a vacancy for a qualified and experienced Asbestos Laboratory Analyst at our South East office in East Sussex.
Salary ranges from £23,000–£28,000 depending on experience.

Requirements
- BOHS P401 (Essential)
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a UKAS accredited asbestos laboratory
- Full UK driving licence (due to rural location)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- IT literate
- GCSE grades C or above in English and Maths or equivalent
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail and excellent work ethic
Experience Required
Candidates must be confident in:
- Log samples using Alpha Tracker and TEAMS
- Analyse samples for asbestos content
- Issue certificates of analysis
- Participate in internal quality assurance schemes including AIMS
- Attend client premises for sample collection and assist surveyors (desirable)
- Support or progress to Laboratory Manager and assist with UKAS responsibilities (desirable for the right candidate)
