Asbestos Laboratory Analyst
Core Surveys Ltd – Fletching, East Sussex
Due to an increasing workload we require a new P401 qualified asbestos laboratory analyst to join our team.
The role will include logging of samples on both Alpha Tracker and TEAMS, analysing samples for asbestos content, issuing certificates of analysis to clients and participating in our internal monthly quality assurance analysis scheme and AIMS.
Responsibilities may also include attending client premises to take asbestos samples and assisting surveyors on site as required, leading to the possibility of further progression if so desired.
Asbestos Air Monitoring Analyst
Core Surveys Ltd – Fletching, East Sussex
Due to an increasing workload we require a new P403/P404 qualified asbestos air monitoring analyst to join our team.
The role will include undertaking 4 Stage Clearances and Background / Leak and Personal Monitoring. We also manage projects and undertake contractor compliance of asbestos removal contractors so good communication skills are also required.
Salary is based on experience. Candidates must have the BOHS P403 and P404 and a minimum of 1 years experience working for a UKAS accredited company.
Asbestos Surveyor – South East Office
Newick, East Sussex
Established for over 20 years we are a UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy, undertaking asbestos surveys, air monitoring and bulk analysis at our laboratory based near Newick, East Sussex.
Due to an increasing workload we require at least one new asbestos surveyor to join our team. Many of our staff have been with the company for 10+ years, which we hope is testament to the working environment we provide.
The role will include undertaking Management / Refurbishment / Demolition Asbestos Surveys to a wide variety of building types for a very varied client base.

We are accredited & qualified
Core Surveys is UKAS accredited to ISO/IEC 17020 for asbestos surveys and ISO/IEC 17025 for sample analysis and air monitoring. Our team holds key industry qualifications, including P402 for surveyors, P401 for lab staff, and P403/P404 for air monitoring analysts. We are certified by SMAS, CHAS, Constructionline and Safe Contractor and are members of ATAC. Our surveyors also hold additional training such as CSCS, IOSH Managing Safely, IPAF, PASMA, and more. These accreditations, combined with our commitment to safety and in-house services, ensure we deliver efficient, compliant, and cost-effective asbestos solutions to clients across all sectors.
