Location: South Wales (field-based with nationwide travel)
Salary: £33,000 – £36,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience)

Role Overview
Due to increasing demand, we are looking to recruit a qualified Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join our team in Wales. This dual-role position involves undertaking both asbestos surveys and air monitoring for a wide variety of clients and property types.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who thrives in a field-based role and is prepared to travel across the UK, including occasional overnight stays and weekend work.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Management, Refurbishment & Demolition Asbestos Surveys in accordance with HSG264
  • Perform air monitoring activities, including:
    • Four Stage Clearances
    • Background, Leak, Reassurance & Personal Exposure Monitoring
  • Liaise professionally with clients and contractors on-site
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety and industry regulations
  • Prepare and deliver detailed and accurate reports
  • Manage on-site projects and monitor contractor compliance during asbestos removal

 

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • BOHS P402, P403, and P404
  • Minimum 1 year experience working for a UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Confident communication and interpersonal skills
  • IT literate with good reporting skills
  • GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
