Asbestos Surveyor – South East Office

Location: South East England (field-based with travel across the region and beyond)
 Salary: £26,000 – £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
 Job Type: Full-time

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join our South East team. The role will primarily involve carrying out Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition Surveys in accordance with HSG264, across a diverse and interesting portfolio of properties and clients.

This is a field-based role requiring a flexible and proactive individual who is happy to travel as needed, including potential overnight stays and occasional weekend work.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264
  • Accurately record site data and compile detailed reports
  • Liaise professionally with clients and contractors on-site
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures
  • Travel to various sites across the South East, London, and further afield when required

 

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • BOHS P402 (minimum requirement)
  • Minimum 1 year experience working for a UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • IT literate with the ability to use reporting software and mobile data collection tools
  • GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Schedule
