Emma Corfield, Managing DirectorCo-founder of Core Surveys in 2004 after extensive experience as an asbestos analyst, surveyor and consultant throughout the UK. Emma acts as lead asbestos consultant for several large organisations and is a BOHS approved training provider. Innovative in the extreme Emma is passionate about the company and enjoys taking it in new directions and exceeding client expectations.

Simon Evans, DirectorSimon joined Emma in co-founding Core Surveys in 2004 and quickly became a qualified and experienced asbestos surveyor. Simon also holds the BOHS P406 and project manages large scale asbestos removal works on behalf of our clients. Great attention to detail and the ability to produce results under pressure has earnt Simon an exceedingly good reputation in the industry.

Damian FazackerleyOur resident Legionella expert and also a trained asbestos surveyor, Damian joined the company in early 2006 and has forged excellent relationships with many of our clients. Damian is largely responsible for advising and surveying the commercial sector alongside Simon as well as being responsible for surveying our largest clients’ social housing stock (no mean feat!).

Craig MeagherA qualified asbestos surveyor and the newest addition to the team Craig is currently responsible for managing some of our smaller tender portfolios and residential properties along with running our re-inspection database and aftercare service.

Paul MartinPaul Joined Core Surveys in late 2006 as a trainee asbestos surveyor and has proved to be an essential member of the team.

Paul SwaffieldPaul joined us in December 2007 from Parsons Brinkerhoff after spending two years managing asbestos related works at Gatwick airport. Qualified to S301 standard, Paul carries out our major project management and reinstatement projects and also acts as lead surveyor for several of our clients. Paul is also responsible for our on site quality audits and kit checks

Jo PhilpJo also joined us in December 2007 and acts as lead surveyor for our nationwide clients. Her first month at Core took her to Scotland, Wales and Newcastle! Jo also acts as our social secretary.

Laura CooperLaura joined us as Office Manager in January 2008 and is already getting us organised. Along with Laura Dunn she is responsible for maintaining our ISO 9001 accreditation.

Laura DunnLaura joined us in June 2007 as our office administrator. Laura is specifically responsible for booking site work and liaising with our clients along with ensuring the smooth running our our everyday office systems.
